Prehistoric Farm Fishing and Diving: Bait and Sea Activities
Use fishing guidance for the bait-and-cast loop or the diving overview for the other official rare-catch activity. Ordinary fish, fishing egg entries and fossil pieces are different results. Choose the activity you mean before applying its costs or controls to a different sea task.
Keep the catch and the collection goal distinctLearn the Prehistoric Farm bait-and-cast loop, distinguish fish from sea egg entries, and identify diving as a separate exploration activity.

Keep the catch and the collection goal distinct
The observed fishing sequence is obtaining bait, casting, waiting for a bite, keeping the catch and replenishing bait. Some casts return nothing. Recorded fish include Mackerel, Pufferfish, Sardine, Swordfish and Coelacanth; those examples do not form a complete roster or a guaranteed next result. The documented bait offer is five coins for five casts.
Cretaceous Seas contains six rare egg entries caught while fishing, separate from ordinary Dig Site fossil sets. The official description also names diving for rare catches and the Sunken Grotto sea reptile egg activity. Sharing a sea setting does not establish identical controls or rewards. Player-caught fish can feed meat-eating dinosaurs, giving a catch a care purpose beyond another collection attempt. Keep suitable catches when that need matters, but do not assume every creature accepts fish. Exact fishing keys, diving inputs and catch odds are not established; use the actual controls your device presents.

Keep the catch and the collection goal distinct: questions
Does a good cast guarantee a fish?
No. The recorded loop includes attempts returning nothing.
Are fishing eggs ordinary fossil pieces?
No. The Cretaceous Seas collection is obtained by fishing, rather than a Dig Site set.
