Prehistoric Farm Diving: Rare Catches and Sea Activities
Understand the official Prehistoric Farm diving activity, distinguish it from fishing and the Sunken Grotto, and check device controls in game.
Prehistoric Farm's official description includes diving for rare catches. That identifies an underwater exploration activity alongside open-sea fishing. It does not provide an exact dive input, a complete catch roster or a map route, so use the live game's controls for the action itself.
This gameplay video provides sea exploration and fishing context. Its fishing portions help distinguish the visible casting activity from the separate official diving objective.
Identify the sea activity you mean
Fishing is described separately from diving. Fishing has an observed bait-and-cast loop, while diving is named as a rare-catch activity. Do not transfer the fishing bait cost or casting sequence into diving as though they were the same mechanic.
A rare catch description does not establish exact odds, guaranteed rewards or a particular species. Plan around the activity you can actually locate in your session rather than a promised rare drop after a fixed number of attempts.
Keep the Sunken Grotto objective distinct
The official description also names sneaking into the Sunken Grotto to steal sea reptile eggs. That is a named egg activity. It does not establish that every dive leads to the grotto or that every underwater result is an egg.
The Mosasaurus spear encounter is another separate sea activity. Choosing a diving objective does not by itself mean you should equip the cooperative encounter's weapon or expect its result.
Check the actual interaction before committing a route
Use the controls and destination instructions displayed by Prehistoric Farm on your device. PC, mobile and console support does not prove one shared dive button. Exact oxygen, depth, equipment and underwater access rules are not established here.
Use the fishing guide when your intended task is casting with bait. Use catching fish for that sequence. Keeping the activity clear prevents a fishing instruction from being mistaken for a verified underwater walkthrough, and lets you choose the sea task the game actually presents.
