Prehistoric Farm Partner Dinosaur: Following and Ranch Care
Understand the selected Prehistoric Farm partner following you, distinguish it from growth, and connect mature creatures with riding.
A selected partner dinosaur follows the player in Prehistoric Farm. Choosing that partner is different from hatching an egg or keeping Belly high enough for growth. Start with the creature you have raised, then choose it as your partner for the following activity.
This gameplay video moves between collecting creatures and tending the ranch. It provides context for the creature you select, without establishing an unseen partner bonus.
Select a partner for the following relationship
The documented action is choosing a dinosaur as partner, and the result is that the selected creature follows you. Exact selection-menu positions, switching cooldowns and partner limits are not established here. Follow the actual My Dinos interface rather than borrowing a menu sequence from another game.
A partner selection does not prove that every dinosaur on the ranch follows at once. It also does not establish a passive Luck, coin or growth multiplier. Use the known following relationship as the reason for the action.
Keep care separate from selection
The growth condition remains Belly over half full. Choosing a hungry creature as partner is not documented as feeding it or bypassing that condition. Maintain compatible food and check fullness while raising it through its stages.
The keyboard reference names G for My Dinos. That identifies the creature menu context, not a verified sequence of buttons for every device or a universal mount key. Use the currently displayed options for your creature.
Use maturity for the riding objective
Riding is documented from Subadult onward. A following partner and a rideable partner are related uses of a creature, but selection alone does not replace the stage requirement. Check the stage if the goal is to mount it.
Use riding dinosaurs for the maturity checkpoint or dinosaur feeding to keep care moving. Keep those questions separate: a partner choice identifies the animal accompanying you, while food and life stage determine the care progress you still need.
